We will check whether your baby is head down, breech, or lying in another position. This can be helpful as you approach the final weeks of pregnancy and prepare for birth.
Detailed Growth Measurements
During the scan we measure key areas of your baby’s body, including the head, abdomen and femur. These measurements allow us to estimate your baby’s size and weight.
Reassurance in the Final Trimester
Our Fetal Growth & Presentation Scan is designed to provide reassurance during the later stages of pregnancy. Many parents choose this scan to check their baby’s development, confirm positioning before birth, and enjoy another special glimpse of their baby.
You will also have the opportunity to see your baby moving during the appointment and hear their heartbeat.
